A Poetic Treat
Sandi Prusik
When Val Kilmer published his second book of poetry, Jack's Gandhi, in 2007, it was with the idea of being made available to the public. That was never the intention with My Edens After Burns, which started out as a gift for family and friends.
For years Kilmer's fans had been asking for more of his poetry to be made available to them. Jack's Gandhi answers that request. Filled with poetry both old and new it includes selected poems from My Edens After Burns and poetry written in the years since Edens was published.
Sold to assist Kilmer's favorite charities, Jack's Gandhi was readily available. Secondary sellers are now needed for this book, as new copies can no longer be purchased directly from Kilmer's website, ValeKilmer.com. It is possible that this will change if more copies become available so it is worth looking at this website first when searching for this book.
There is enough new material in this book to interest even those fortunate enough to already own My Edens After Burns.
Kilmer as Thomas More in The Saint
Some of Kilmer's poetry was actually read in the film.
