The Prince of Egypt 1998

Two brothers united by friendship, divided by destiny.

Two men -- brothers and princes of the greatest empire on earth. One will someday rule Egypt. The other will become one of the greatest heroes of all time. A lie made them brothers - but the truth will destroy a dynasty and forever separate them - in faith - in heritage - in destiny.

The epic journey of Moses from slave to prince to deliverer has been told and retold for centuries, inspiring generation after generation. Now this timeless story comes to the screen in a new form for audiences of every generation to experience.

Val Kilmer as Moses, Ralph Fiennes, Sandra Bullock, Danny Glover, Jeff Goldblum, Steve Martin, Helen Mirren, Michelle Pfeiffer, Martin Short and Patrick Stewart.

This is a timeless story that the whole family will enjoy. What I loved about this film is that Kilmer not only voiced Moses, but he also was the voice of God.  When you think about it, it's perfect casting.  When we hear the voice of God, it always sounds like our own, God made us in his image.

Kilmer also played Moses in The Ten Commandments live at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, which is also available for purchase on DVD. Kilmer starred with Pfeiffer in a made for TV movie One Too Many.
