If you are a Val Kilmer fan, by now you have seen the film Wonderland. This film is a speculation about evening of July 1, 1981, where four people were brutally murdered in a home on Wonderland Ave. in Los Angeles, CA.

The film is centered around the relationship between porn star John Holmes and his teenage girlfriend Dawn Schiller.

The Road Through Wonderland is a new book by Dawn Schiller, who recalls the actual accounts from her chilling childhood that molded her so perfectly to fall for the seduction of “the king of porn,” and the bizarre twist of fate that brought them together.

My Two Cents  The Road Through Wonderland is a heartwrenching story that is beautifully written.  Schiller is very honest about her relationships with her family and with John Holmes and his wife Sharon.  I applaud Schiller for bringing to light the brutal world of preditors and their young victims.  I was deeply touched by Schiller's courage and it would be my hope that everyone read this book.
