Limited Edition Pendleton Woolen Mills blankets, designed by Val Kilmer and Liz Lake.
The blanket is a symbol of the rich trade history of the American Southwest. A constant of Native American life, the trade blanket is emblematic of our nation’s past. Historically, the blanket is an important communication device of emotion, of individual and community identity and status, a poetic statement with both ceremonial and practical uses. The gift of a trade blanket is a way of showing friendship, appreciation, honor and celebrating commemorative milestones and achievements.
Only 250 blankets were produced in each design of this exclusive series. Kilmer's signature is woven in the lower right hand corner of each blanket along with a commemorative label indicating the series number. As always, a portion of all proceeds go towards supporting Kilmer's charities.

"The blankets designed by Val and Liz are definitely high quality. The Pendleton name assures that sight unseen. But the photos barely do justice to just how stunning they are in person. Each blanket has a soft suede patch sewn near the bottom corner identifying it as a limited edition and each one is individually numbered in the edition. And the patch also names the blanket and gives the names of the designers: "designed by Val Kilmer & Liz Lake."
"These blankets are a beautiful addition to any Pendleton collection, and worth every penny. And should give years of service, as Pendletons do. As with most Pendleton blankets the designs are reversible, giving you a slightly different look just by flipping it over." ~Sandi
